Guest guest
I promise -- dressing is easy. Maybe the easiest thing on your Thanksgiving menu. Unless you make plain cranberry sauce from scratch; for that, you just boil some cranberries and sugar and water together. Then you pour it in a bowl, and that's that. No gluten there! (I know you didn't ask about cranberry sauce, but I couldn't resist throwing it in.) H. Just a little daunting for someone (me) who has never made stuffing from scratch. Recipe time! **************Get the Moviefone Toolbar. Guest guest
Actually, I now remember that my son-in-law is a hold-out. He looked crushed when the home-made cranberry sauce appeared on the table his first year with us. He now buys his own can of jellied cranberry sauce, the kind that gives you ribs around the sides. Each to his own. H. In a message dated 11/15/08 6:36:45 PM, CiZella@... writes: Sounds delicious. In my house, my folks WERE mad about canned things. Since my diagnosis, I am swinging them a little bit away from so much canned or overly processed items. It's a tough transition, but the taste alone is worth every extra minute (in my book). Home-made cranberry sauce, the plain kind, stays good for a very long time in the refrigerator. But usually people use it up right away during snack raids. H. And thank you for throwing that in there, I got a good laugh from it. I shouldn't laugh though, it could very well be that someone out there didn't know that. Now they know =) **************Get the Moviefone Toolbar.
