I don't which it was, but over the 3 weeks that we had a few Kinnikinnick donuts and rolls (similar odd ingredients) both of us seemed to lose all normal peristalsis and our guts just shut down. Definitely not a gluten reaction - almost the extreme opposite, in fact. Before we determined that Kinnikinnick baked goods were the cause of the problem, my poor kid went through 2 physical exams and 2 rounds of bloodwork.
