Guest guest
i send some every day and the presurgery ones are really important to keep you centered, reduce your anxiety, increase your faith. create a mantra about keeping your faith and trust and knowing that you will be healed and pain free and say it often. there is one of the PRRT that i wish i could show y ou but maybe i can explain it: take the middle finger tip of your right hand and put it in the little pocket near the top of your ear so that the outside of your finger is touching that outer edge of the ear; turn your head to the right and close your eyes and think positive thoughts. do this many times a day. got it? Carlene and MT angels... Re: surgery on monday carlene, i love your angels. marsha keep them coming pls. i need some help right now.
Guest guest
Good luck and be a patient patient. Remember, it can take several months before it starts to feel normal, depending on the amount of digging your surgeon has to do and the amount of skill he or she has. -Merry Christmas. I feel like I'm going into this as a much more informed patient and with a greater awareness of what to ask and watch for. Everyone is raving about the all-new beta. Guest guest
Ladies (and some gentlemen too), This is it - I'm going in on Monday morning at 5:30 a.m. at NYU! After a year of trying to deal with the pain, I am really looking forward to an end in sight!! My husband and I just spent a week on a Caribbean island to " destress " and it worked - I am ready! I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for your wisdom and guidance - this site rocks! Hopefully my mentor Edie will visit and if not, my husband or sister will be calling her with an update. Jeri - best of luck to you on Tuesday. You will be fine I'm sure, just as I will. Thanks again and I will write when I can. Donna T.
Guest guest
Donna, You will be in my thoughts on Monday and I will be looking forward to hearing from Edie that everything went like clockwork. It's wonderful that you were able to have a little get-a-way with your hubby and soak up some warm sunshine. Try to keep that nice glow in the coming week! Sending my best wishes, Cam

Guest guest
Donna: Just sent you a private email before I even read this... Haven't been on the board in a few weeks, but have not forgotten your surgery, believe- you-me. Guest guest
Hiya Donna, Cam and all, Yes, I'll be sending in Donna's report as soon as I hear from her hubby/sis--Live from NEW YORK...it's SURGERY NIGHT!!!!!!!!!! And I'm sure you will be hearing that everything went like clockwork, just like Ms. Cam says. Donna, healthy diversion is the key this weekend! Rent a really dumb and funny movie, and remember that you are giving yourself a long-term gift! And you can also think about the discomfort you are living with right now, and realize that in much less than a year from now, that pain will be gone or greatly reduced. Like I said in an earlier post, I sent you a private email-- Meet ya next week (although we really already know each other, right?) Hugs to you all, Edie > > Donna, > > You will be in my thoughts on Monday and I will be looking forward to > hearing from Edie that everything went like clockwork. > > It's wonderful that you were able to have a little get-a-way with your > hubby and soak up some warm sunshine.
