Guest guest
To all you dear friends in this group, I send my love, prayers, and thanks! I am recovering from my recent surgery well now. I cannot thank you enough for all the prayers, cards, calls, emails, and the flowers sent in the name of the group, and people like , Bonnie, Joyce, Kam, Sharon, and Cam, and Michele! No wonder I have improved! I do believe that my chance of ever having revision surgery is about nil (I had hoped, earlier) but that is OK. At least I am here. There really was some question at different times in the hospital. I have some strange abdominal geography now, no navel included. But, I am here. A friend of mine (Nanc) should be signing on soon. She is in FL and is contemplating three-stage surgery -- anterior, posterior, and anterior. She believes she will be fused through the thoracic region to S1. I have urged her to come here and to join in order to avail herself of the information regarding questions to ask the doctor, etc. She's not very computer savvy, and I just hope she does join! The things you guys do lately really advertise the good work that can be done to help people who do need revision. I mean, Cam going to Europe and doing all that walking and standing and not taking meds (!!) and even Kam wearing high heels! Uh oh! Hope you are doing better now, Kam! Please know that everyone here is in my thoughts and prayers! Carole Myron
