It sounds like there must be. The one that the nutritionist gave me had me eating something every 3 or 4 hours. Why don't you ask for a referral to a nutritionist?

He sent me to my internist to have that managed. She wanted to try to control it with diet before using any medication, but the diet plan she put me on was the diabetic diet where you eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and bedtime snack. I had been eating much smaller meals throughout the day prior to that. If I eat what I am supposed to at the meals, it is actually alot to eat at one time compared to what I had been eating. I go back to see her next week. My question is - are there different kinds of diabetic diets? I would like to ask her about it.Thanks,
