Guest guest
Hi Bronwyn: I was about to post something similar when I saw your post. I am so excited! My husband and I have had the GF pizza from both the San and Mtn View locations w/ no issues and today I noticed Amici's mtn view was on my company's waiter.com delivery list for today (we have no cafeteria but there are 3-4 restaurants we can order from daily). I thought I was going to have to skip lunch today since I had a lunch meeting scheduled at the last minute and I can never find anything safe to order but instead I can feast on a gluten free pizza (with plenty of leftovers for my jealous husband). I am just so overjoyed that it is getting so easy to have gluten free pizza!!!!! so double woohoo! Jean
Guest guest
You all convinced me to try Amicis! I had a good experience and best of all, didn't get glutened. I just posted a review of Amicis gluten-free pizza at my blog here: http://www.bookofyum.com/blog/gluten-free-pizza-restaurants-amicis-in-san-jose-m\ ountain-view-vacaville-or-dublin-california-2394.html OR http://tinyurl.com/5nwv4k Feel free to add your experiences and/or opinion of their pizza in the comments! Thanks and hope you enjoy! - > > Hi Bronwyn: > > I was about to post something similar when I saw your post. I am so > excited! Guest guest
They keep their home page updated - looks like it's not in Cupertino yet http://www.amicis.com/ it lists Dublin, Mountain View, San and Vacaville so far. I've been to both Mtn View and San a total of 4 times with mixed results: 1st time: San - soggy with almost no cheese, but hey, it was pizza so we were thrilled. Ordered with spinach, mild italian sausage and extra sauce, crust was almost crispy. Terrible service - waited 40 minutes for the pizza. 2nd time: Mountain View - much better, told our server about the San experience - ordered pepperoni pizza. Great service, crust was crispy. Waited 10 minutes for the pizza. 3rd time: San - the best yet - not soggy, plenty of toppings, pepperoni was a little greasy. pepperoni = grease. Ordered pepperoni pizza with extra sauce and extra cheese, crust was crispy, take out. 4th time: Mountain View - my favorite, my husband liked #3 better- could have used a little more sauce. Ordered the pizza margharita with red sauce and hot italian sausage, crust was very crispy. Ordered waiter.com corporate delivery. So I can't say which location has better service or better pizza - but it's all still really good and I still tear up every time I get to order a GF pizza. > > We've tried both the Mountain View and San > > Amici's.
