Guest guest
Jean’s post about the Sensitive Baker brought to mind our discovery that the Central Avenue Bakery in Pacific Grove is out of business. The kids and I headed there for a GF sandwich after an afternoon of Whale Watching, only to be broken hearted at their closed storefront. Although they were not exclusively GF, they seemed to have lots of great product, but abysmal management and untrained, inexperienced staff. Having a great product is only half the story; you have to have good business sense and management experience. (ideally in the south bay as there are few options unless you head down to Almanden Valley to that cheesecake bakery that also sells gluten free goods). Too bad, it isn’t available any more; I would have liked to watch it. At any rate, the episode isn't scheduled to re-air but it is available to watch online: http://www.aetv.com/we-mean-business/episodes/index.jsp just pull up episode 3 " Sensitive Baker " . enjoy- Jean
