Guest guest
Quite possibly – as long as it includes kids, isn’t too expensive, and they can do it without dairy. Guest guest
Hi-- My daughters (8) and (6) would love to participate in this. in SF ________________________________________ From: [ ] On Behalf Of squirt2476 [kerihourigan@...] Sent: Wednesday, September 03, 2008 9:07 AM Subject: [ ] Re: GF Gingerbread House Anyone? December is always very busy for us because it's my son's birthday also, but this sounds like so much fun that we might just have to squeeze it in. It would be so fun for the kids to be able to do this traditional holiday activity and have it be totally gluten free. Keep us updated! Guest guest
I just got off the phone with one of the owners of Cake Art and she seemed very excited about the idea. She is going to contact her business partner and Pamela about it. It seems very possible that there will either be a GF gingerbread house or a GF cookie decorating event. It will probably be $45 and require a minimum of 10 participants. I will update you as I find out more info. Guest guest
Well, back when I ate gluten, we always ate the house after we were done using it as a decoration. I don't know what the consistency of GF gingerbread is, but the owner has tried Pamela's and says it is delicious. And the event will (hopefully) be in San , which is in Marin County, about 20 minutes north of the GG Bridge. Guest guest
I've never mastered the art of baking without sampling, have you? ;-) Actually, when I've made gingerbread house in the past, they did get eaten. I'm sure there are many different ways of doing them, tho.
