I am trying to see how much interest there would be in a GF gingerbread house event in December. One of the women who owns Cake Art in San is friends with "the Pamela" of Pamela's GF mixes, etc. They sell GF cake mix in their store. Cake Art has various classes throughout the year - and they always do gingerbread houses for the holidays. I am going to ask them if they have any interest in a GF gingerbread house class. It would be nice to have an estimate of how many people would be likely to attend. So please let me know if you would be interested. Thanks! Guest guest
I'm sure there would be some interest; it sounds like fun. I'll put it out to the whole group. It would be good to get a cost estimate, if possible, and a proposed date. - > > I am trying to see how much interest there would be in a GF gingerbread house event in December. Guest guest
Hi Trudy, Although I try to limit our activities in December, this event sounds fun! It would be great to bring my 3 year-old and have him be part of the activities instead of separate. Any way they could do soy-free as well? I'd be interested... Guest guest
December is always very busy for us because it's my son's birthday also, but this sounds like so much fun that we might just have to squeeze it in. It would be so fun for the kids to be able to do this traditional holiday activity and have it be totally gluten free. Keep us updated! Guest guest
But when making a gingerbread house, you don't actually eat the gingerbread, do you? I've not made one before, but I was just thinking that it would be more about being in a gluten-free environment and doing crafts without having to fondle gluten than eating them... It doesn't matter to me, though- anything free is fine. This event sounds like fun, but I'd have to figure out where the location is... - > > Quite possibly - as long as it includes kids, isn't too expensive, and they > can do it without dairy. >
