Guest guest
Where is Cascal? I haven't heard of it before, and it sounds worth checking out. Guest guest
it's in Mountain View on Castro street. http://www.cascalrestaurant.com/ I went there a few months ago and it was fabulous! I will definitely ask for the GF insert next time- my server kept going back to the chef to check on various dishes for me. They have really yummy sangria too :-). (several varieties) and a 1/2 off sangria and appetizers happy hour.
Guest guest
Do be careful, though. We like their happy hour and sometimes have ordered the appetizer plate but their GF menu sometimes misses really obvious things like bread in crostini. The waiters are generally good, but ask the manager if in doubt. One time the waiter insisted the calamari was gluten-free and then on quizzing the manager, it turned out not to be. That being said, I've eaten there multiple times and not gotten sick, and the service is quite decent. I like one of their eggplant appetizers, but otherwise have not been that excited by the flavors in their dishes so we don't go very often. - > > it's in Mountain View on Castro street. > > http://www.cascalrestaurant.com/ > > I went there a few months ago and it was fabulous!
