I found the cinnamon ones at Draegers, but not chocolate (which is what I

wanted). I wrote to Draegers and asked them to carry the chocolate ones a

couple of months ago, but got no response. Having them in stock is hit or miss,

as so often happens at Whole Foods for most things, too. You'd think if they

kept running out that would tell them something!

I've seen them stocked at Draeger's in Blackhawk and now the Safeway

across the street is carrying a freezer case full of their products

back by the bakery, including the doughnuts.

Oftentimes it is a simple supply &

demand thing. As in, they don’t get enough and they are on

backorder forever.

My local Safeway store (Antioch) is also now carrying many

Kinnikinnick products, including chocolate doughnuts, bagels, pizza

crusts, and some breads. We were so excited to see them. We had

been to Harvest House the day before stocking up on things but still

bought 3 things from Safeway just to show them that there is a demand

for it.

Thanks for posting this. Where in the Safeway did you see them? In

the freezer dept? Refrigerated? Health food section?

Has anyone seen Kinnikinnick products at a Safeway in SF?

It was actually in aseparate freezer in the back of the store near

the bakery. They are sharing a freezer with regular, gluten filled

ice cream cakes. The freezer is marked on the front of the glass

with the Kinnikinick logo. I made sure to tell the checker how happy

we were to see some gluten free products!
