Guest guest
We just moved here from the ST Louis area, and are still members of Stlouisalerts, the group for Celiac's in the area. They do a lot of things well, including maintaining their restaurant guide. As I live in San Francisco, I'll start here, but I would like to start to compile a more extensive GF friendly restaurant guide for our site here. I recently went to Madison and St. Louis, and their Celiac groups have it posted on their group sites, and it was really easy to go out to dinner - and we should have something like that too! I'd be happy to do the leg work. If anyone has had a good experience in San Francisco please email me the name of the restaurant (and the address if you have it) and perhaps even what you ate. Then, once we've got a good base for San Francisco we can move out to other cities around the Bay (or if there are other volunteers to take on their hometowns). Eventually (down the road) I'd like to have a good Celiac awareness program for the Bay Area. I know that there are people here who do this, but I'd like to see restaurants become more active in this (fingers crossed). So - please email me caitlinganter@... with your restaurant experiences in San Francisco over the next few weeks and I will compile a list, get it posted for everyone and then we can work on integrating it with that awesome Google Map! Thank you, Caitlin
