Guest guest
We ate at Amici's in San last night (Friday). What a wonderful feeling to be able to eat in a pizzeria for the first time in 6 years! This restaurant is doing all it can to provide gluten intolerant people g-f pizza. When you walk in, the flyers of g-f pizza being available is right at the register. After being seated, they also give you a nice hand-out explaining all of the procedures their kitchen goes through to make sure there are no cross contact issues. Very professional of them! The staff was very knowledgeable about the g-f pizza, too. The g-f pizza was good - not downright delicious, but good. It was a bit pricey, though, because my husband ordered a small regular pizza along with my g-f pizza. My combo pizza alone was $26, but enough for a couple of meals. All of the toppings are g-f except for the meatball and eggplant. I talked with our waiter and the on-duty manager last night about bringing in g-f pasta next. I would love to dine there again and enjoy some g-f pasta dishes. Being able to enjoy a pizza in a pizzeria - Priceless! Sue
