Six Flags - Vallejo

Good Evening -

My family is going up to Six Flags (formally Marine World) this

weekend and I was wondering if anyone has had positive experiences

eating within the park. I understand I can bring food in but would

love to enjoy the park food if possible.

Are Caramel apples or Candy Apples safe? Popcorn? Suggestions would

be great!

Thank you

I posted this same question this time last year when we went and didn't

get any responses, so we took all my sons food in with us. I really

didn't look into it once we were at the park. I do know they sell

Dippin Dots ice cream as well as Dreyers ice cream. I would think the

popcorn would be safe, but I didn't check on it. I'll be curious to

see if you get other responses because we may be going next month with

our sons. Have fun!

I suggest calling the park.

I did that with Great America – their

customer service sucked, and it took them forever to actually get me to someone

who could answer my question.

Be very, very, VERY careful though –

the employee who originally answered my questions tried to tell me the chicken

nuggets (breaded) were GF. As it turns out, nothing at the park was GF and we

had to bring in out own food.

Not nearly as fun, but safe…

I brought my own food two summers ago but I recall one 'healthy'

choices place at the main food court that might have fruit salad etc.

Also there was a mexican stand near the killer whale show area that

might be worth checking into. I'd assume that for the most part you

might be dealing with low paid teenagers that don't have a clue about

food ingredients or issues, though.

We may go again so let me know what you find.

I went to the website and can not find information on there food. They

had this in the FAQ

May I bring my own food and beverages

into Six Flags Discovery Kingdom?

No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed to be brought into

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. However, exceptions are made for Guests

with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby

food/formula. Guest should contact Park Security or Guest Relations

when they arrive at the Park for approval to bring in special dietary

foods. The special dietary food containers will be marked and dated to

clearly show that they have been approved for entry into the park.
