Guest guest
The format was changed a couple of years ago and ever since, I cannot delete anything. It puts lines around the whole message but will not delete. I am also a zombie when it comes to computers but have not been able to figure out how to edit since. -D ----- Original Message ----- From: Evie Maddox<mailto:evie@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2008 9:36 AM Subject: Please trim posts When you reply to a post, please delete all the excess information at the bottom. Especially the unnecessary html coding that comes through on some. Today's digest was a nightmare to scroll through and can be solved simply by each poster only sending through the necessary info. Thanks! Evie
Guest guest
Double click inside those lines and roll the ball down on your mouse and it will allow you to delete the extra text. That's what I just did here, and always do. You may have to " fiddle " with it a few times to get it right. Guest guest
Hi Dave, I read my messages in Outlook Express. I go to Format and change it from Rich Text to Plain Text That allows me to trim the posts. Otherwise it deletes it due to the box. Hope that helps you, Karma ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave Shelden gallstones Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2008 1:54 PM Subject: Re: Please trim posts The format was changed a couple of years ago and ever since, I cannot delete anything. Guest guest
And thank you too Amber. Sitting here kind of feeling like I should have brought this up a while back, none of you can see the crimson of my face anyhow. -D ----- Original Message ----- From: Amber <mailto:amber@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Saturday, March 01, 2008 12:56 PM Subject: Re: Please trim posts Double click inside those lines and roll the ball down on your mouse and it will allow you to delete the extra text.
