La Costena Chipotle sounds like a good thing to search out.

I found several recipes for chipotle peppers in adobe sauce, on-line. It sounds pretty easy to make.

There was a question several weeks ago about gluten free Chipotle

Peppers in Abobo Sauce. Well I found a brand that does not have the

wheat in it. It is La Costena Chipotle Peppers. I found it at Rancho

San Market which is a division of Food-4-Less. I know that

Rancho San Miquel is a small chain just in Stockton, Lodi, Modesto and

Merced but Food-4-Less had some bay area stores. There was one in

Fremont but I do not see it listed on their website. So there is a

brand that does not have the wheat in it.
