Jeri Update - Happy Valentines Day

Hi Everyone,

After a rough couple of days, Jeri is doing pretty well. I think last

night was (finally) comfortable for her. She got up a couple times for

walks yesterday. Internals seem to be functioning properly, and

they've removed her from all the IV fluids except the antibiotic for

her infection. She will likely be on the antibiotic for 3-4 weeks after

leaving the hospital. Diet is progressing slow and steady.

After the last couple updates we don't want to get too excited about

her progress, but we are keeping a positive view.

Jeff,

I am glad to har that Jeri is mending well once again. I hope it is the

last big setback of the initial surgical stage and we hope to hear she

is discharged soon. I will send another card right away...please be

sure to tell us how to contact her once she is off to rehab.!!
