Guest guest
I have had pillow concerns for many years -- I remember just after my 1980 surgery going home in a plaster cast (Risser?) and needing several pillows under my neck just so shoulders would feel comfortable (sleeping on my left side -- I've always been a side sleeper). It got to be a habit, and just a few months ago, I decided to try sleeping on my right side. At first it was less comfortable, but I persisted. Now sleeping on left side is very uncomfortable. I've also noticed that fewer pillows, as few as one or two, helps my back feel better, not great, but better than the several I was used to just a few months ago. There may be more things shifting in that stupid back. It feels like my symptoms are accelerating since I set the date back in November. Just about one week to go. Not looking forward to it, but it's gotta be better than spending the rest of my life in accerating pain, numbness, and looking at my shoes.
