I it was a Laotion Thai place called "Dara Thai/Lao" at 1549 Shattuck Ave, Berekley 94709. Phone is 510 841-2002. I spoke with the cook in person and she took what I said seriously. They use aluminum pots so just washing them was OK, ditto with hands. I had them not put soy sauce into my dishes, and asked what might be safe for me.. Most of the workers there don't speak English well at all, however the cook does. I went when there weren't many people eating which I think also helped them to focus more on not making a mistake.Bea
