Re: restaurants in redwood city / New Kapadokia

We tried the New Kapadokia in Redwood City. The good news is that they were quite aware of what had wheat in it - their rice pilaf plus some other dishes. The other good news is that the restaurant filled up by 7:00 p.m. showing that it is a popular place. WWW.Yelp.Com also gave it OK ratings. However, none of the four of us were impressed by the taste, quantity, or prices and felt that there are better choices for us. They did not have the vege kabob shown on the website or the pictures out in front, the chicken was tasteless and only a few chunks, and two of our companions said the rice was awful. Kabul in Sunnyvale and San is a much better choice, as are Cafe Artimis and Yas in , Arya in Cupertino, and Dishdash in Sunnyvale.Vic-Sunnyvale
