Guest guest
I've also had the burrito bowls at least half a dozen times with no reaction (no sauce though - that, they claim, does have gluten). I will ask them about their rice though and if they don't have a good explanation I will be asking for double beans instead of rice just to be safe. thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. Jean PS I was so proud of myself - 4 months in a row with no glutenation, until Sunday. My husband got a box of Schurra's chocolates for his birthday. While there were no gluten ingredients on the box label, it had the obligitory label about how the chocolates are manufactured on equipment shared with wheat products but I ignored it as I've never had a problem before - bad idea. About 30 minutes after having one of the fruit cremes I had a bad reaction - then had to nap for most of the rest of the day and had brain fuzz after that and into Monday. I guess I was lukcy all those other times I ignored those labels about equipment. I wish there was a way to really gauge which companies relaly make a concerted effort to clean the equipment and which ones are more dangerous. I'm assuming since Schurra's is a local small biz, they are less likely to really clean the equipment or perhaps have flour in the air when they are making the chocolates (?)
