It has caramel color in it and it is made in the USA... you may have heard that caramel color is thought to be safe for celiacs if made in the U.S., so I believe this is one of those exceptions. Shortly after that experience I went back and looked at some reference material (from a nutritionist) which had this product listed as containing gluten.
