Guest guest
Hi Keri,That's great about the gluten free pizza. I live in Moraga and would love to eat at Penninni's. Do you know how they deal with cross contamination? (Separate cooking, or whatever..)Thanks,CarynOn Sep 19, 2008, at 3:12 PM, Keri Hourigan wrote: On Sunday my family went to Penninni's in Moraga for some gluten free pizza. My 2 sons loved it, and my husband and I also tried it and thought it was very good. They are also now serving Redbridge Beer, and our waiter said they are "going like hotcakes." My husband got one to try it out, and just to encourage sales, and thought it was pretty good even though he isn't GF. Yeah for gluten free pizza! Guest guest
I have been there twice and it is great. Very psyched to hear about the Redbridge. That kind of completes the picture, eh? ;-) -- Sent from Joe's iPhone http://sanbeiji.com On Sep 19, 2008, at 5:04 PM, Stiavetti <steph@...> wrote: > I went the other day and loved the pizza! Guest guest
Hi Caryn- According to the website where the pizza crusts come from (www.stillridingpizza.com) the staff is educated on using a clean prep area, and they are provided with a special raised tray to cook the pizza on, and are also given a special pizza wheel that is only used for cutting GF pizza. We didn't receive it at Pennini's, but when we ordered GF pizza at Aladino's in Antioch we were also given a little brochure about the safeguards they use to avoid cross contamination. My son has been fine after eating at both places. If you do go let us know what you think. Also, check out the Still Riding website to read more about it. Hope this helps!
