I took Nexxium for about 2 days - every dose produced vomiting and severe

nausea.

I take it and do not have Celiac disease, my daughter took it and does have Celiac...We have had great luck and no adverse reactions. It works very well.

My son takes Prilosec with no problems.

I have been taking Nexium for three years now. Was on Aciphex and

Protonix for eight years before. I think the Nexium works better for me.

The only side effect I had was then when I first started taking it when

I had some reflux it came up foamy. That stopped after about two weeks

and since then I have had very little problem with reflux. Everyone

reacts differently to medications so what works for me might not be the

same for someone else.

I did a search for Prilosec * gluten and some online pharmacies list it

as gluten free but when I checked glutenfreedrugs.com they do not have

it listed, prilosecotc.com has the label and by looking at that I do not

see anything that might be gluten containing.
