If anyone is interested, there is a seller on Etsy.com that makes fabulous gluten-free mixes. Go to Etsy.com and search for 'glutenada' in the sellers list. I've tried the sweet fruit bread mix and the double chocolate brownies (wow!) and both are delicious, moist and non-celiacs love it. Thanks,Viviana~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I have read all of this about distilled vodkas being gluten free - I have had problems, however, with wheat based vodka - my mouth starts to tingle and I get all of the typical gluten symptoms and I do NOT get the same result with potato vodka. Seems to be quite a variety of opinions. Check out this link on Celiac.com - follows the line that distilled spirits are glutenf ree - read on and read the comments about people's personal experiences and what they think the reason could be ....

Wine doesn't contain gluten. Some bottled wine-flavored drinks have gluten ingredients added. Avoid bottled mixed drinks in general, unless you can check the ingredients.Distilled liquors are GF unless gluten is added for flavoring or coloring.Ordinary beer isn't GF. However, recently several GF beers have become available in the U.S. Some are quite good. Redbridge (Anhauser-Busch) is pretty easy to find.
