It might have absolutely no gluten in it, but the tests can't test below that level. I for one try to avoid buying anything made in a facility that also processes wheat, just to be on the safe side, no matter what the test results are. Unfortunately, I have no way of knowing where the products a restaurant uses have been processed, so I do accept some risk when eating out. I guess the best case scenario would be for more companies to simply produce gf products in gf dedicated facilities. For that to happen, I think the companies need to hear directly from gf consumers that their products will not be trusted until they are made in a gf factory. Does anyone know if there is a letter writing campaign already under way? Perhaps we should (I should) kickstart it... ???
