Guest guest
, I am aware of that web site. There is very limited info on Hanson on the web. I do know of someone who is planning a revision with him in Sept. and she is NOT a pediatric patient. I believe she is in her late 30s. I honestly don't know of anyone else in Houston to go to to get even a preliminary diagnosis. There is a much older gentleman at my church who has had multiple lumbar fusions here in Houston. His x- rays look a lot like Cam's minus the thorasic part. He does not have scoliosis. He is in constant pain. I can't remember the name of his doctor. It might be another 6 months to a year before I can travel to either St. Louis or Amarillo. I am concerned about the increasing numbness in my leg. Also, I tend to drag it some. Guest guest
Hi Kathy... A little closer to home, in Plano, are Burton Sachs and is Shelokov. I have communicated with a few of Shelokov's patients, who love him (although I don't think they were revisions). I worry about him a bit because he's a PR machine. (If you're a good scoliosis surgeon, why would you need to advertise?) Burton Sachs did a Moe fellowship, which is the same fellowship done by Bradford, who is certainly considered one of the pioneers in scoliosis revision surgery. http://www.consultingorthopedists.com/shelokov/ http://www.texasback.com/spine_4.htm Regards, > > , > > I am aware of that web site. Guest guest
my husband and I were very impressed with Dr Sachs.
