Lloyd's Barbeque, Green Giant Steamables

Safeway has the packaged Lloyd's Barbeque shredded chicken in BBQ sauce

in their meat section which states Gluten Free right on their label.

There were a couple of other Lloyd's varieties of BBQ shredded meats

that also stated Gluten Free. Great warmed up for a sandwich.

Green Giant now has a few frozen " Valley Fresh Steamers " that appear to

be gluten free because they only state the allergens Milk and Soy on

their label. Cheesy Rice & Broccoli and Roasted Red Potatoes & Green

Beans in Rosemary Butter Sauce. I do not see barley in the

ingredients, but a small chance it could be in their " natural flavor "

ingredients. I will have to call the company to verify.

FYI - I also saw another " steamers " frozen package ( " steaming " seems to

be the latest fad, I think)from a company called PictSweet with

a " Complete Steam'ables " frozen package - " Fiesta Chicken & Rice " - no

apparent gluten products and only states Soy on label. Will have to

call to verify.
