Guest guest
I've now eaten twice at the Amici's Pizza on Lombard Street in San Francisco. It's at the edge of the Marina District. Servers have been very well-informed, and a menu explained what was involved. There's an up-charge of about $4.50, which seems reasonable to me. Because I hadn't eaten pizza in six years, just about anything would have pleased me, but my non-celiac husband liked them, too. The first time at Amici's I ordered the veggie pizza, and it was good. The second time I ordered the Trentino; the crust was far better, perhaps it's based on cheese, allowing the crust to firm up better. It's definitely not as good what I remember pizza being pre-celiac, but it's extremely pleasant, all things considered. H.
