Guest guest
Ugh! This is bad on so many levels. You're right; the recipe should just be thrown out before anyone tries it. Maybe you can give them a real formula and decent instructions--or at least a site for finding the instructions. You don't need any special " recipe " to add pineapple sage. Guest guest
That's just strange. How weird. I don't even make lye soaps and *I* know that it looks fishy! hehe Yes, I'd definitely contact them so that no one gets into a dangerous mess while trying to make it. The combination of pineapple and sage does sound very good, though! ~nne [blog] http://bathtubjunkie.net/
Guest guest
Make tea with it, add it to lemonade, put leaves under and on top of chicken, fish, or pork, leaves on the bottom of a cake pan to infuse the flavor, minced finely in cookies, any other ideas? Guest guest
yes i am definatly emailing the site owners and offering them a weighted measure lye calculated recipe that they could post instead. and tell them what was wrong about the other recipe. Pineapple sage is really nice. I have yet to really use it for anything though. I have been buying it for 3 or so years now. I just love the smell. It is a sage plant that grows about 3 or 4 feet tall and smells just like a fresh pineapple. really like a fresh pineapple. In the fall (or when the plant matures enough) it has these amazingly red flowers that look so pretty. This year I am going to try and bring it inside in the fal so i don't have to keep buying it each year. It is getting expensive. I have put some leaves in water and iced tea before. Tastes good. The tag I noticed this year states that it is good with chicken as well soo maybe i will try something like that some how. > > That's just strange. How weird. Guest guest
My friend just sent me this link for a yummy seasonal cake using clementines. I haven't tried it, but it looks delicious. Thought I'd pass it along. http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/01/clementine-cake/#more-1762~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Viviana Acevedo-Bolton Stanford University Civil and Environmental Engineering vivianaa@... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "los hermanos sean unidos, esa es la ley primera, que sino los devoran los de afuera..." ~ Fierro
