Guest guest
I saw the best endo in all of St Louis today, what a waste of time. He barely looked at me and said I don't have a thyroid condition (had been stable on meds for 11 years) and that my problem is really post-partum depression. I'm not depressed and my daughter is 11 years old. He didn't run any test and my main complaint is heart/chest pains, short of breath, muscle tremors, and extreme anxiety. I am not going on antidepressants without a through investigation. I am not sad. Sherry > > > > Here's my latest update. Guest guest
This is typical. They know little to nothing, so amazing. Look for a topdoc, someone who is recommended by patients. It is not always a sure thing, but better than a crapshoot. http://www.geocities.com/thyroide Gracia > > > > I saw the best endo in all of St Louis today, what a waste of time. > He barely looked at me and said I don't have a thyroid condition > (had been stable on meds for 11 years) and that my problem is really > post-partum depression. Guest guest
thanks Marilyn. I have cut my medicine and everyday is a better day. Apparently I have some residual thyroid function that kicks in on it's own that makes me especially difficult to work with. So I can't do minor tweaking because I don't change back as quickly. I never took the antidepressants, and so far don't need them. Sherry > > Hi Sherry > > Your email could have been written by me. However I > was diagnosed as hypo 14 months ago.
