Anyone happy on Synthroid? How long till I notice a difference?

I just was diagnosed and my doctor prescribed Synthroid.

My first question is - Is anyone out there is happy on it? My

symptoms are mainly being tired, hard to lose weight, and dry skin.

My second question is - I started taking Synthroid on Saturday and

just wanted to ask some of you that have taken it how long it took

before you noticed a difference? And did you notice a big

difference? I have seen a lot of people say it takes 6 weeks and I

just wonder if anyone noticed changes right away? I am asking because

I feel better already and I don't think it's in my head! I also had

low iron on my blood test. I started taking a multivitamin Monday,

which may have helped the iron situation, but I can't imagine that

would make such a difference? Any thoughts?
