A lot of TJ stuff says "made on the same line" or "made in the same facility" In general the same line things give me heartburn (my first symptom, my canary I like to call it, as I can get it from an incredibly small amount and don't get other symptoms unless I get more - plus I get it really fast, like within 30min). Sometimes the facility ones are fine and sometimes they also give me heartburn. I love TJ's stuff, but sadly most of their no gluten ingredient things I cannot eat.

Actually, Trader Joe's says "No Gluten Ingredients Used." It doesn't say "Gluten Free."

Since my family has been employed by TJs for 31 consecutive years, I'd be really interested in your story and how to help, because something is very off here. I get regular blood work and eat nothing but Joe's...

You do realize that the absence of a reaction does not prove that the food is "safe" or gluten-free don't you? That issue was discussed at some length in this forum just recently. Unless you are having regular bloodwork and biopsies, you really don't know how safe your diet is. Because of past problems with Trader Joe's I've dealt with not only their corporate office but also their insurance company (yes, that's how sick we got) and their suppliers. TJ's policy is if the recipe doesn't include a gluten ingredient, they call it "gluten-free" without paying any attention at all to cross contamination. We've had problems with their peanut butter, soups, chips, cereals, frozen waffles, and more things I can't think of this morning. I no longer trust anything but their dairy (excluding cheese) and produce.Maureen> > As for Trader Joe's. I shop there all the time, and they have> numerous items that are safe to eat.
