ohhh that's great news. I miss Fresh Choice. It was just too dicey, plus I hated looking at allthe not gf muffins and breads. Hmmmm, maybe that'll be their next step!!! Well, I can dream.

Right at the end, I happened to glance at the ice cream toppings and I noticed that they had " gluten free " written on them! Then, I went through and noticed several other things that had it listed as well. I was so surprised! I went and talked to the manager, and he said that they are working on getting everything labeled gluten free that is gluten free. I didn't ask him how they are determining it (I wish I would have) and if they are doing it at all the locations. I emailed their coporate email address and I may just try to give them a call this week to ask more questions.

Fresh Choice has been one of my safe places to eat once I learned to

stick to oil and vinegar for dressing- I got glutenated once from one

of their dressings -not fun. They have ingredients listed on most

dishes now - haven't seen the GF labels yet - will look for that next

time I go (I usually go to the Sunnyvale one). Once I waited 15 minutes

for them to look up up the ingrediants for one of the soups - the next

time I visited all the labels were up on the soups so I'm assuming many

folks have come in asking for the ingredients. It stinks having to stay

away from all the baked goods and the cobbler-type desserts but there

are so many other good things to eat (and all the soups I've tried so

far have been safe) so I love going there. Besides the salads I usually

have a baked potato with chili or one of the soups/stews over it and

now that I can tolerate dairy again make a sundae too.

Hmmm, I've never been glutened at a Fresh Choice. I skip anything

next to or below a gluten item, and of course all the pasta and bread.

I discovered long ago that their soft serve is gluten free (though

full of corn syrup solids, which I can now not eat).
