Guest guest
I stopped into the Starbucks in Paso Robles (sorry not so local) and they had recvd the Valencia Orange Cake today. I purchased it for $1.95 which I thought was a very good price. I loved the flavor and taste. It was a little too oily however as it contained 16g of fat and was a total of 290 calories. Definitely a treat I will purchase again just not healthy enough to consume regularly. Enjoy! Guest guest
I stopped at the Cupertino location at Wolfe and Homestead. They did not have it today, but knew about it and actually had samples of it in the back for the staff last week. They weren’t sure when it would get in, but hopefully soon. If any of you are in the area, stop by and ask for it. The more we bug them, the more likely they will be to get it! Guest guest
I bought a few of them this morning at the Starbucks at De Anza and Bollinger in Cupertino (by Trader Joe's). I found them to be fairly tasty, but quite eggy and moist. My kids (6 and 2) weren't very impressed. - On Tue, May 5, 2009 at 8:01 PM, Amy Bhatnagar <amy.bhatnagar@...> wrote: > > > I stopped at the Cupertino location at Wolfe and Homestead. Guest guest
We were given one last week as a free sample, and my husband and I thought it was very good. My two sons (4 year old is our celiac) were not overly impressed and actually didn't eat more than a bite each. I thought it was very moist, but it does see like more of a grown up type of cake. We tried to go yesterday morning to support the first day of sales, and they were already sold out at the Brentwood Starbucks. I didn't try any other stores because I had a 4 year old and an almost 2 year old with me and didn't have the energy to trek all over town looking for them. I'll definetly buy it again - I thought it was delicious and a great price. Hope you can find it soon. I'll be curious to hear what you think about it! Guest guest
They have it at the Menlo Park Starbucks on Santa Cruz Ave, but they didn't have the wrappers on them. Also, they may have used the same tongs that they use for all baked goods to take it out. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Viviana Acevedo-Bolton Stanford University Civil and Environmental Engineering vivianaa@... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "los hermanos sean unidos, esa es la ley primera, que sino los devoran los de afuera..." ~ Fierro found it at Fillmore and Eddy Street in SF very yummy and moist....ha I took the last two.......tee hee
Guest guest
The girl at Starbucks in Palo Alto tried to use the tongs to give me the one sample cake (there should only be one on display unwrapped) and I asked her about wrapped ones, and she got them out of a box right then for me (still wrapped). You might mention to the Menlo Park manager that the treats are wrapped for a reason and they shouldn't unwrap more than the display one.... - > > They have it at the Menlo Park Starbucks on Santa Cruz Ave, but they didn't have the wrappers on them. Guest guest
I tried it. I don't really care for it because I'm not a big fruit cake fan, but I wanted to see. The Starbucks by my work in the financial district had them in a separate basket, all in their wrappers. That's really dumb that some places are unwrapping them.
