You will see a 'film' gather on top of the water over the next few days... and the water will 'ferment'.... the water will contain eventually alot of ENZYMES and B vits. We stopped doing this when I found that kombucha tea is LOADED with many of the same enzymes... alphalipoic acid and B's.... wendy >> _______________ When I let the wheat berries go for more than 24 hrs and the film gahtered at the top, I couldn't drink it. I thought it was awful!! but could handle the 24 hr stuff. Edith
Guest guest
Bernadette, Could you give us an example of your daily food intake on an eating day then what you do on a fasting day? Thanks, Edith

Guest guest
Ahhh thanks! So I just ask for whole grain wheat? The lady at the health food store looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for wheat berries LOL Tough translating from english to dutch! Barbara > Wheat Berries are grains of wheat. Guest guest
Hi Bernadette, Glad you recovered a great measure of health while on your health retreat. Do you know where to buy a press to use with the champion? I used to admire the Norwalk back in the early '80's but could never afford one. But I have a champion here, fairly new. Keep up with the effort required to be healthy. Lenny abrs@... wrote: > Edith, > > > > The best juicer is the Champion with a press. Or the Norwalk (a 2500.00 > juicer). Guest guest
>Could you give us an example of your daily food intake on an eating day>then what you do on a fasting day? Today I was very busy. So I ate on the run. I juiced Wheatgrass first thing this morning. I worked out on weights and ran my five miles. When I came home I had a banana, two mangos, and some pineapple. I had to drive two hours and then come home and bring the children somewhere. So I threw four different sprouts in a bowl and added some humus. I ate that on the run. For supper I had an apple, a mango and will wait an hour and have some watermelon. Or I may have a salad with almonds and a little dressing made with Apple Cider Vinegar and First Cold Press Olive Oil. You can be more creative then this, or as simple as this. I was in an atmosphere where there was a buffet lunch and desserts. I was not tempted, I simply feel to good to go back. Guest guest
I can get you the People's Press for 289.00. You can also do a search on the People's Press or the Welles Press (same thing) and see what you come up with. It is real rewarding know you are getting the most out of your produce and maximizing the enzymes and nutrients. The extra step is minor and well worth it. I am about to enter another long term juice fast. Blessings and let me know if I can help you get one.
