Guest guest
Just heard from this brewery. Please let them know if you have an interest in their home brew kits.Dear , Thank you for your interest in our brewery and beers! Well, our progress just isn't where we'd like it to be... At one time, we had raised over a million dollars to start a very nice brewery but when the economy tanked it took our investors with it ...and then the bank loan fell through, the world wide hop shortage started, and our brewer had her 3rd child! The timing for our brewery just wasn't right. On a brighter note, during the down time, we PERFECTED our recipe for our 6 gluten free beers! We don't even have to filter them to have crystal clear beer (beat that Budweiser!). --I can't even convey how incredibly intelligent our brewer is. Over the past winter we have made a great discovery in a farm that produces truly gluten free oats and have created the best GF Oatmeal Stout ever! --Okay...it's probably the only GF Oatmeal Stout in the world, but it is still awesome. I hope celiacs gain the courage to try it. So now we have 7 beer recipes that are better than traditional beers! Lager, Amber, Red, Pale Ale, Dark, Oatmeal Stout, and Lemon-Ale (like a cross between beer and lemonaide). We hope to get started with a tiny brewery soon and grow to a size that will ship to Cali--I already have a dozen distributors lined up continually asking for beer to sell. But, I won't kid you, it's going to take a few years... In the mean time, we are thinking of offering a GF home-brew kit to make these beers. It's a kind of reconstitute-heat-add yeast-ferment-and bottle type deal. If you're interested in more information, let us know. We are trying to realize our dream of great-tasting gluten free beers for everyone! Cheers, Connie Rieper-Estes Co-Founder, President Dark Hills Brewery, Inc.
