My son is going to a birthday party where they are having lunch at the Firewood

Cafe in the Metreon. Has anyone had a successful gluten free meal at the Cafe?

Yes, I've eaten salads at the Metreon many times without gluten poisoning.

One warning though--he should specify to the server that he does not want bread.

A couple of times I carefully ordered a gluten free salad, only to have the

waiter put a piece of bread on top when delivering it to me.
