yodoxin for parasites

I was prescribed yodoxin after my stool specimens turned up with

parasites. The nurse didn't give me any more specifics other than

" parasites " . Has anybody else used this medication? Any side effects?

Did it have lasting results? Have had a minor skin rash and joint

pain as well as fatigue, but I seem to sleep better and my bladder

seems to be emptying much better. On day 15 with 5 days to go. I had

tried Chinese herbal medicine with acupuncture for about 3-4 months,

but maybe wasn't on it long enough.

If you want to know the side effects of a drug, you may want to go to Webmd and

type in the name of the medication.

Antiboitics aren't bad, but the medical profession uses them too often, so when

it is really needed, like in your case, you may need additional help getting rid

of them. It is true that if you don't get all the parasites (eggs and all) they

will come back and even worse! You would be good to take acidophilus while

taking the antibiotics, because they kill the good with the bad. Don't take

them at the same time, leave a a few hours in between.

I have always tested negative for parasites and so haven't needed this, but I

have taken antibiotics for urinary tract infection and pneumonia. I made

certain to take acidophilus to minimize the damage to the good bacteria, and do

believe it helped.
