Guest guest
Hi all, I had a negative experience with a taco from Taco Bell.....I tried eating one last nite before my class and two minutes later up it came! Ha this happened to anyone else? Today I had a bad experience with a tuna melt sandwich at the Gyspy's Shiny diner in Cary. I'm becoming 'relucant' to try anything out anywhere! The feeling is a 'stuck' sensation....very weird, I never had this feeling from the first MGB. Has anyone else experienced this 'stuck' feeling and the only relief is to upchuck? of Raleigh
Guest guest
, I think all of us are different unfortunately ---- I have no trouble with tacos from Taco Bell - I only eat one of course! However, on any given day I can have " trouble " with anything. I never have much trouble but some days things " sit " better than others. Just go slow, don't try anything really strange and you should be fine. BTW - tuna doesn't sit particularly well with me either usually! Glad you are doing well otherwise! in GA Re: Taco Bell Hi all, I had a negative experience with a taco from Taco Bell.....I tried eating one last nite before my class and two minutes later up it came! Guest guest
Dear in Raleigh, It happens to me all the time. It looks so good, smells so good and even tastes so good-------then-----whoopsy-daisy---! I always carry a mans handkerchief and a container of the kleenex, extra large folded, towelettes-----with me at all times. I never know what will and what will not make it. I chew every tiny-morsel until it is pulverized and swallow very slowly. Also, my best friend is Gaviscon extra strength. I keep the small packages in my pocketbook and never leave home without them. Eating slowly is a MUST and it is better not to drink too much water, gatorade or whatever when you eat. It is really strange, but if I am paying attention, I can tell the minute something goes in my mouth if it is not going to work(stay-down). It sounds really disgusting, but I have actually chewed a piece of pizza and then spit it out(at home, of course!); I just had to have a taste, but knew the spice and the weight would be disasterous. It tasted great! Now that I have 'bared my soul', I do hope it has been of some help to you. My body still likes the protein drinks, fruit and non-gassy vegtables. Just remember, each and everyone of us is different, be kind to yourself and take really good care of yourself. FHR Dr.R 12/10/01 245/185 Feelin' Great! Guest guest
Hi , yes, I had the stuck thing once, and it was grits. I haven't tried them since. And I had to throw up, which is very hard for me and I don't do it easily but it was the only way I could get over it.And the spasms subsided after throwing up. Guest guest
, Hey girl! I had my MGB on Friday, March 1, 2002. I am feeling really good, but I am having that stuck feeling with almost everthing, including liquids. Dr. R says it is because the new stomach is so much smaller. When he does a revision like yours, the stomach is smaller and the esophageal sphincter is affected since the dissection is so close to the diaphragm. He says to just take smaller bites/ sips. I am doing really well and hope to be back to work soon. Love, Dana

Guest guest
More info on their website. Looks like some chicken is ok too. http://www.yum.com/nutrition/allergen/allergen_tb.asp I have had good luck with the tostadas on the road. I asked about their tacos, and the lady said it's not on the list, so technically they're not safe, but it doesn't say why. I was trying to find out if their taco shells were okay, and maybe it's just the meat with seasoning, but she said she didn't know. > Â Louise Audell > art + > design > louiseaudell.com > (510) 531-4607 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
The reason that the meat at Taco Bell isn't gluten-free is that they use a wheat-based filler that's mixed in. > > Can't remember if I've posted this or not... > > Since I'd been frequenting a Taco Bell near my house...I thought I should call for their GF menu items, if any.
