As long as you are not eating any gluten (which does take a

while to fully figure out and eliminate), your intestines will heal. It does

take several months. There is nothing that I am aware of which speeds this

process. Of course, others may have other ideas!

Best of luck adjusting to your new diet! Hang in there.

Subject: [ ] Probiotic Whole Foods

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site as well as new to eating GF (just diagnosed with CD). I

really would like to know what foods heal the stomach wall lining. I made

kimchi (fermentation process naturally makes probiotics) but it turned out too

sour and too salty. It was gross;-)

Any suggestions on gentle, healing foods/ herbs, etc. would be very helpful.

Glutamine is awesome but I'd like to find foods; supplementation is getting

very costly.

Thanks!

Thanks .

I have Candida amongst of other secondary illnesses as a result of living with

CD for 11+ years. My whole body, Mind and brain are out of whack as a result,

along with having a sugar allergy. Eating sugar is so toxic for me. My life

becomes unmanageable, especially when compounded with gluten.

Do you know anything can help decrease cravings? Healing my stomach will help...

Thank you!

Also, do most others with a gluten intolerance and/or allergy have a sugar

sensitivity as well? I'm seeing that people don't metabolize dairy, but was

wondering about sugar, corn syrup, etc.-- all chemicals that are very harmful to

my system.

Being gluten and dairy free for the past 5 years Probiotics have been difficult

to find that are safe for me. Most probiotics contain dairy and although I love

Kim Chee I have never made it. My husband and I both take Dr. Ohhira's

Probiotics 12 Plus original formula and have found a marked improvement in our

digestive systems. You can get these at Whole Foods although we purchase them

on-line.

I've also had challenges with probiotics and recently took one back to Whole

Foods because it contained dairy. Glad to have the reference to a safe brand.

Thanks!

I use companies that send ice packs with any type of product that needs to be

kept cold. For example, Metagenics or Apex Energetics, etc. all use the ice

packs. Please let me know if you would like information about any of those

companies.
