The first visit for a new patient will probably be a few week wait (I waited 4 wks) but now if I call with a problem he himself always calls back the same day and will get you in the office within a day. Just curious who are you seeing and what don't you like.
Guest guest
If its for you (she only sees women). Pamela Wang in Danville. www.avenuesforhealth.com. My kids see a pediatrician so I had no recommendations for my friend below. Please respond to me and I will forward info to her. Thanks Sabreena . --- I apologize for the duplicate post, but I thought people with any of these issues: Celiacs / Auto-Immune Disorders / Immunodepressed are likely to have good doctor recommendations for my mother. This is my previous post:I am moving my mother from the Central Valley and looking for a medical team for her in my area. I live in Walnut Creek but willing to travel a bit for a wonderful doctor because my mother is extremely, seriously ill. Please email me at my personal address pillbugalug@ gmail.com if anyone has had any personal experiences, pro, con or in-between, with either of these doctors who work at Bayside Medical in Berkeley on Telegraph Avenue. These are primary care physicians. Doctor Eichel also works in Alameda. I found only a little about Dr. Eichel online and nothing about Dr. Nguyen. My mother needs doctors understanding and experienced with Celiacs Disease and other Auto-Immune Disorders. Her problems are difficult to treat and often illnesses crop up that are rare or hard to even diagnose (as in, what IS that rash? :-) so the doctors need to be patient with that and not brush her off. Her immune system is severely depressed to where she often cannot ever get rid of an infection once she has it, so she now has quite a collection. She has life threatening allergies to most foods, medicines (including anti-biotics) , and all kinds of other things. She has a myriad of issues including neuropathy, severe chronic pain, things like strept, sinus infections, etc that she has had for years which never go away and I think are secondary to the Celiacs because that, as well as the 18 years of exposure to toxic Black Mold at her workplace, were diagnosed so late in her life and her treating physicians didn't understand it so she never received proper care or instructions for self-care. She is housebound and mostly bed bound due to her risk of contracting infections if she is a! round pe ople, and also from her extreme pain from any movement. In addition to a Primary Physician, I need to find a good Gastroenterologist, Neurologist, Allergist and Nutritionist (familier with issues such as my mom's) who all take insurance. Im hoping to find a Primary Physician who will see her for a first appointment very soon , but I will still appreciate references to good doctors with whom she might not be able to see for awhile. For now though I need to get her in to a primary doctor asap because 1. Her old doc isn't worth his salt and she is in great need of immediate care 2. She won't leave her home without knowing she's got an appoinment to go to.Thank you for advice / recommendations!Dany(925) 352-4427
Guest guest
Dear Lynn, Hi, I am Dany (short for Danette) the person for whom Sabreena just posted my email that I am looking for a doctor for my mom. I decided to join this site so that I can receive any responses directly, and to benefit from any other things I can learn about here as my mom & I are newly diagnosed and my son, whom I suspect of having Celiacs, is currently going through the testing process. My mother is 100% bedridden at this point and literally starving to death, as well as battleing many secondary illnesses & infections that never go away. So she is currently my focus for finding medical help and hopefully moving in with me (if she'll allow it!) so that I can care for her. Thank you so much for your recommendation. It is perfect since I live in Walnut Creek. I will call Dr. Wang on Monday! Guest guest
I have seen two. One in Sebastopol - Lipelt - 707-829-2737 and Treya Palmer who has moved but still comes quarterly for appointments. Her email is: terrii@.... Both have a different approach. can order blood tests and help with hormones; Treya uses a bio-feedback machine and is the one that discovered the " lyme & co " and got me started on CC and glutathione. Both have really helped keep me on my feet. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of alison kelly Sent: Wednesday, February 16, 2011 7:57 AM Subject: [ ] doctor recommendation Hello, Could someone please recommend a doctor in or near Sonoma Calif.??
