I got a copy of the revised sick leave policy today and into longer states that it has to be for nonelective surgery. You just need a note from the doctor. We don't really have disability insurance in Manassas, the leave bank is our short term disability. After you use 30 days of your own leave, the bank kicks in for up to 45 days per school year.

I heard about Lenke through two sources at the same time. One was a surgeon I consulted overseas, and the other was a surgeon that my brother-in-law works with. I went out to see him in January. He was nice, brought three other docs in with him (residents?) and was not averse to answering questions.

Hi Judy,Do you have disability insurance? I had that here in Fairfax and when I ran out of leave it took over. I have missed a couple months at a time three times here. I found out today that it affected my retirement through VRS but not the county. I was never denied leave - I just went in and told them. After 30 days - the disability took over and paid 66%. Cam is right - check with your union rep. How did you happen to choose Lenke?

Hi -I live in Herndon and am also searching for a Dr. to do my revision

surgery. I was excited to see you live in Fairfax and Judy is in

Manassas.I'd be very grateful if we could talk by personal email. I

guess I'm not tecnically advanced so I have trouble using this website
