Successful Surgery CD & an adventure

Hi Cam.

I've listened to it several times, not on any planned schedule,

though. We're having trouble finding an MP3 player that's reasonably

priced and dependable. We bought an RCA 8Gigabyte one during the

holidays (as a gift to ourselves), but haven't been able to find

another... then the headphones I tried to use in bed were very

uncomfortable. Now I have headphones but no MP3...

I've been up all night with more discomfort/pain/numbness than I've

had in a long time. My 6 hour adventure today -- at spine clinic and

then 4 stops in UW Hospital (which is a frustration for normal people

to find their way around, but a nightmare for " spacialy-challened "

me), plus giving another pint to the Red Cross pooped me out, but I

didn't realize until past 11 that I needed something to counteract

the pain that my adventure cause (can you say, " SLOW LEARNER " ?) to

help me sleep. Normal 1 acetominophen PM didn't work... added another

one at 12:30... still no relief so added a quarter Tylenol 3 at

2:00 , and figured I might as well wait for full impact (if any)

before I even try to lay down again.

Seems like it's working. I guess I'll try again to sleep. Here comes

another day without subbing (worse than a day without sunshine)

Even though we have just enough $ to survive for our extremely frugal

lifestyle, I am very luck I am so very very very lucky that hubby is

patient and has a job with unlimited overtime (and can be 'on call'

every weekend if he wants). A techie job only 5 minutes away.

I am so very very very very very lucky.

I hope that I can help anyone who needs it whenever my perspective

could help. So far, I feel that my concerns are trivial compared to

some of you.
