Guest guest Posted March 14, 2009 Report Share Posted March 14, 2009 Hi Vicki, Basically, your addy has been hijacked and someone is sending out emails under your name and email address. I have read that this can be done using Microsoft Outlook Express. I would suggest that you contact and a microsoft outlook express tech forum for more information. Unfortunately, the person may be sending out emails all over the internet using your addy and I suspect that's not something you want to have happen. You may need to change your email screen name and account. I know of two other people this happened to. It's not a pleasant situation. Sorry. BeingIrish**************Need a job? It has a bottom that you can click to label it as spam and you wont see it again. If this somehow finds you again reply and asked to be unsubbed. Guest guest Posted March 14, 2009 Report Share Posted March 14, 2009 I don’t know much about computers but I have heard of people gaining access to a person’s computer and using it to send out spam. If I suspected that, I would first run my antivirus software for a scan and if it continued I would take my computer to a geek to see if there was something strange going on. I do not open messages like this because sometimes even opening it does something other than what you expect. I don’t know enough about computers to be sure of what I say but I do know enough to be very careful. I hope it is not a problem on your computer. God bless. My account ended up being suspended because of all the spam the was coming from my account. They told me that I needed to change my password. After I did that, there hasn't been anymore problems.
