Guest guest
The UK has the greatest prevalence of "coeliac" in the world, so finding GF food is not hard at all. We didn't run into any server in the whole country who didn't know about celiac and what was safe on their menu. I've listed some search sites below. We didn't use them much because we just asked in any restaurant. If all else fails, there are always "potato jackets" (stuffed potatoes). Two places we really liked were in Covent Garden: an Italian place that served GF pasta, and it was reasonable - Da 's - and another place that was good was PJ's Grill. The Savoy will serve GL goodies at high tea, if you have a whole bunch of money and tell them ahead. If you are staying somewhere with a fridge or microwave, go to Sainsbury's or Tesco (supermarket) to the "free from" isle...tons of GF goodies I really wish we could get here, like bread you don't have to toast to enjoy.<http://www.coeliac.org.uk/glutenfree_living/travel__dining/94.asp><http://www.gluten-free-onthego.com/searchRestaurants.aspx><http://www.go-gluten-free-wheat-free.co.uk/eat/county.asp?counid=12><http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/restaurants/gluten-free-restaurants-in-london-recommended-london-277.html><http://glutenfreelondon.blogspot.com/>England is the easiest place to travel GF!
