Guest guest
IF I have a regular recipe how can I convert it to gluten free? I am assuming I switch GF flour for regular flour, but is it cup for cup? Also, do I need to add the xantum gum? Does it replace anything? Do I still add baking powder and/or baking soda? Thanks for your help.
Guest guest
I've found I can replace wheat flour with Bob's Red Mill gluten free all-purpose flour, and add xantham gum as recommended on the package of the gf all purpose flour. I keep the rest of the recipe as is. So far I've made brownies, muffins, and cookies this way and it's worked out well. -----Original Message----- From: Ligia <lmstockwl@...> Sent: Thu, Jun 18, 2009 6:05 pm Subject: [ ] Baking Help IF I have a regular recipe how can I convert it to gluten free?
