Guest guest
Hi , Yes I love rice milk. But when I went on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet to heal my gastritis and intestines, these things were not allowed. I should be able to have them again soon as the Primal Defense heals my gut. I can have almond milk, but have not tried it yet. I don't use milk on anything except in tea or on cereal, which I cannot have. The real killers for me in not having dairy is chocolate and cheese. God bless, KJ
Guest guest
I make my own rice milk for pennies compared to health store prices: 1 cup organic brown rice rinsed and then soaked at least 12 hours in pure water. (it gets soft so one could crumble it with fingers) Add rice with soak water to blender--hi speed one minute or more--then fill to one qt. level with pure water. Add vanilla/brown rice syrup etc. (you may choose to sieve) I do the same with barley and oats. Delicious! --- KJ <PEACEJ@...> wrote: > Hi , > > Yes I love rice milk. White, like we have trained our minds to want a milk to be? I could use this on cereal etc? You mentioned barley and oats. Not together but separately? hmmmm never heard of those. For the timid amongst us, which would you recommend first? Thanks Diane
