Guest guest
Hi, We are heading to Breckenridge Colorado for a week. My almost 3 year old is GF. Does anyone have any suggestions for restuarants, grocery stores well stocked with GF foods, GF bakeries or any other ideas? I appreciate the help! Thanks Ahroon
Guest guest
Although I cannot help specifically with Breckenridge, I lived in Colorado for over five years and it is generally a very good place for gluten-free foods. The main grocery store chain, King Soopers, carries chebe and other gluten-free products at a good price (cheaper than in California). Vitamin Cottage is an excellent health food store chain that carries many gluten-free specialty goods including products by the Colorado Springs gluten-free bakery, Outside the Breadbox http://www.outsidethebreadbox.com/ . Deby's gluten-free bakery has baked goods and gluten-free package mixes and is in outer Denver, if it is on the way or you have time. (They no longer have a cafe though.) The gluten-free girl's husband is from Breckenridge. Here are some of her recommendations (Although I haven't visited them myself) http://glutenfreegirl.blogspot.com/2008/01/knowing-him-through-his-home-town.htm\ l Note Mi Casa has a gluten-free menu. Hope this helps! - > > Hi, > > We are heading to Breckenridge Colorado for a week. My almost 3 year old is GF.
