Guest guest
> So I have to go get fitted for an ?LTSO? back brace. < Mine was a TLSO brace. I had to wear it for 3 months after my fusion. The only time I could take it off was when I was laying down.
Guest guest
TLSO means Thoracic Lumbar Sacral Orthosis. I wore my beloved/hated TLSO for 3 months, removing my Xena Warrior Woman carapace only to get dressed while lying down. 24/7 depends on the severity of your back problem. Judging from the fact that you can " go get fitted " , I take it your's isn't a full blown emergency back trauma. Which bones? What happened? sonia > So I have to go get fitted for an ?LTSO? back brace. (not sure is > the initials are correct) How long will I need to wear this? Guest guest
I am getting fusion of L5/S1 which is related to Pars defect. This is the most common fusion area I understand. I just had the plaster casting done today for the brace. This is something that has been getting progressivly worse for years and no one did anything till now. I will be looking into this too. Guest guest
I was just told that th brace must be fitted AFTER Surgery as one's body is different than pre-surgery. It must be a miscommunication.
